Red Bull Energy Drink’s new home in Santa Monica, CA, required major renovations to a 1950s-era brick building. To create an interior courtyard, HLW International oversaw the demolition of a section of the building’s original roof. Witynn the courtyard, a non-functioning skateboard ramp was constructed, measuring 40′ in width and 250′ in length, with offices and conference spaces beneath. Additionally, he raised the garage ceiling from 9 ft. to 13 ft. to accommodate a stackable car lift.
The residents of the 23-story Soma Towers in Belleview, Washington, which houses 273 units, can now enjoy an outdoor piazza thanks to the addition of Schweiss bifold designer glass doors. The larger of the two bifold doors measures 16.5′ x 7.9′, while the other has a clear opening of 14.10′ x 7.25′.
